Day 1: Medan Airport – Bohorok
Upon arrival at KNIA Airport (Medan-North Sumatera) Via …… at ……, meet and greet by you guide. Directly depart for Bohorok, located at southern part of Gunung Leuser National Park). Drive for about 4 hours on bumpy road from Medan, capital of North Sumatra, to see Orangutan Rehabilitation Center at Bukit Lawang at Bohorok Village where this primate is trained to return to the natural habitat. En-route passing through several small towns followed by vast view of rubber and oil palm plantation and some country side landscapes. Check in at Bukit Lawang Eco Lodge for accommodation (Non-star hotel).
Day 2 : Bohorok Orang Utan – Tangkahan (B,L)
After breakfast, walk along the river bank and then cross the river by small canoe to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. Walk around the hill through the rain forest to see the activity of those ex-illegally captured and the young Orangutans are trained to rehabilitate for back to nature. Return to the lodge for your rest and lunch. After lunch by four-wheel drive (approximately 4 hours) to Tanghakan Ecotourism Site. The driving is along the ex-logging road passing through the plantation and villages. Tangkahan is the buffer zone of Gunung Leuser National Park. Stay at Mega Inn (non-star accommodation)
Day 3: Tangkahan (B,L)
This morning you will start an adventurous 6,8 km trail that will take six hours trek. It serves for adventurers with healthy stamina. Crossing some hills and steep slopes, you can enjoy the rainforest and find the opportunity to explore bat cave with thousands of bats in it.The journey will be concluded by riding the rapid curent of batang serangan river on a rubber tube Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Day 4: Tangkahan – Brastagi (B)
Have breakfast and then depart for a fresh air mountainous area of Brastagi in around 5 hours drive. En-route visit Dokan, a village with a number of traditional houses that are still being occupied. See the famous fruit market at Brastagi. Overnight stay at Sinabung (Breakfast).
Day 5: Brastagi – Parapat – Samosir/ Lake Toba (B)
Morning drive approximately 3 hours for Prapat, a famous lake resort lies on the east shore of Lake Toba, the largest lake in South East Asia. Enroute stops visiting the slender of Sipiso Piso Waterfall drops into the northern tip shore of Lake Toba from hundred meters height. Visit ancient King’s Palace of Simalungun at Pematang Purba. (the big house already broken down),Proceed to Prapat through the fertile vegetable and fruit farms, pine tree forest and spectacular view of the lake along most part of the journey. Arrival Prapat takes a boat ride in 45 minutes for Samosir, a huge island in the middle of the lake. Check in Toledo Hotel ** or similar

Day 6: Samosir (B)
Morning after breakfast, your day begins with Samosir tour visiting the tomb of King Sidabutar and Batak Toba Village at Tomok. Then visit Ambarita, a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture in front of the traditional house and proceed to Simanindo Village to visit The Museum of Batak Toba People. Rest of the day is on your own activities. Stay at Toledo Hotel or similar.
Day 7 : Samosir – Parapat – Padang Sidempuan (B)
Leave for Panyabungan (approx 9 hours)– a small transit town on the way to Bukittinggi. Visit Lumban Binanga Village, the small town Balige with its richly ornamented market building, winding along the road from Tarutung. Continue journey to Panyabungan for stopover night. Check in Mega Permata hotel.
Day 8 : Padang sidempuan – Bukit Tinggi (B)
Today’s drive will be long but memorable as you cross the equator in the heart of fourth largest island in the world. The interior terrain of Sumatra is stunning, criss-crossed by rugged mountain chains, deep rivers and step valleys. The countryside is covered with impenetrable tropical jungle. This afternoon you will arrive in the quaint highland town of Bukittinggi and the heart of Minangkabau culture. Arrive in Bukit Tinggi then Chek in to hotel Grand malino or Simillar For your accommodation.
Day 9 : Bukittinggi Tour (B)
Fullday tour to explore the beauty and the cultural aspects of Minangkabau Highland. See the landmark of Bukittinggi – Jam Gadang (Clock Tower), the uniqueness of the local market, museum, Ngarai Sianok – a grand valley, Koto Gadang which is renown for its silver works and hand embroidery. Travel further to Pagaruyung – site of the ancient Minangkabau Kingdom where women ruled in matrilineal society. Before returning to hotel, visit the traditional village of Lima Kaum and Pariangan.
Day 10 : Bukittinggi – Padang (B)
After Brekfast , drive three hours to Padang, the capital city of West Sumatra province, en route stopover at Anai Valley to enjoy and witness the beauty and greenery of Anai Valley Park.
Arrive in Padang, then transferred to airport for your next destination.
