Bahorok Trekking Trip 4D3N

Day 1 : AIRPORT – BUKIT LAWANG
Arrive at Medan airport, meet and greet at the airport then depart for Bohorok ( Southern part of Leuser National Park ). Drive north – westward to Bohorok (about 3 hours drive from Medan), to see Orang Utan rehabilitation at Bukit Lawang in Bohorok Village where Orang Utans are trained to return to their natural habitat. En route passing through several small towns followed by vast view of rubber and oil palm plantations with some countryside landscape. Arrive in Bohorok, check in to Eco Lodge. For accommodation.

Day 2 : Bukit Lawang – Jamur batu camp (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will start a jungle trekking to explore the national park. You will follow 6-7 hours jungle walk searching Sumatran Orangutan and other tropical flora and fauna. Its not a flat walk, some ups and downs, You have big chance to to see gibbons, thomas leaf monkey, longtail and pigtail macaque, squirrels, Great Argust and Hornbills. A wild orangutan might cross your away. Enjoying a little picnic by Indonesian Lunch Packed prepared by team. Your Guide will explain you many thing about the rainforest, will showing you a many different kind of plants and flowers. Learn about setting up camp in the Sumatran jungle on arrival to your campsite and assist in building a fire to cook your dinner. Your local guide is well versed in “camp cooking” dine under the stars surrounded by the eerie sounds of the jungle. Your Local Guide will be playing a few game and trick for enjoy a fun night and happy with a little snack, tea or coffee before sleeping.

Day 3 : Jamur batu camp – Alur pancur camp (B,L,D)
After jungle b’fast we will continue the trek to next camp the trip will take 6-7 hours with stop to see wild life and have some local food for lunch, at noon we willbe at camp and can swim in the river

Day 4 : Alur pancur camp – Bukit lawang – medan – airport(B,L)
After b’fast we continue the trek 2-3 hours and we will back to our camp or we just relaxs and swimming the river, noon after lunch n packing we do tube rafting in bohorok river back to Medan
arrive in bukit lawang then drive back to Medan via the same route as from medan to Bahorok. Arrive in Medan then transfer to the airport for your next destination
